What MatchHead does
MatchHead LLC introduces homeowners to independent contractors. We are a referral service. We are not a contracting company, we do not perform construction work, and we do not supervise the contractors we introduce you to.
What it costs you
Nothing. Homeowners pay MatchHead no fee for the match or for the quotes. Contractors in our network pay us a fee when a project they received through us goes ahead.
Your agreement is with the contractor
Any contract for work is between you and the contractor. They set the price, the schedule and the scope. They are responsible for the quality of the work, for their own licensing and insurance, and for any warranty they offer. MatchHead is not a party to that contract.
We check that contractors in our network carry general liability insurance and pass a background check before they receive work from us. That is a screen, not a guarantee. You should still satisfy yourself about anyone you hire, ask for proof of insurance, and get the scope and price in writing before work begins.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee that a contractor will be available, that they will quote, that a quote will be within any particular range, or that the work will meet your expectations. Cost figures shown on this site are typical market ranges for the area, not estimates for your project.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information about your project and your contact details, and only submit a request for a property you own, rent, or are authorised to arrange work on.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchHead is not liable for any loss arising from work performed by, or any dealings with, a contractor introduced through this service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to this service will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
